This colossal appetizer includes Cabo Wabo’s signature tortilla chips piled high with 20 tasty toppings, available for $55. And because the Red Rocker is certain that this dish will take an entire army to finish, he invites guests to take his ‘I Can’t Drive 55’ Dollar Nacho challenge.
Cabo Wabo threw just about everything in the kitchen, minus the sink, into this massive mound of nacho goodness. A satisfying snack for groups watching the game, celebrating a birthday or for the friend who can’t shut up about his bottomless stomach, Sammy Hagar’s ‘I Can’t Drive 55’ Dollar Nachos will be sure to fill the bellies of all who attempt to conquer them. The brave (and hungry) lone ranger that can finish the eight-pound dish in less than 55 minutes will be inducted into Sammy Hagar’s Macho Nacho Hall of Fame and receive a complimentary Cabo Wabo T-shirt.
Described as the “Mount Everest of nachos,” Cabo Wabo’s extreme appetizer is loaded with chipotle sauce, queso, mixed cheese, black beans, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, olives, poblano peppers, pickled and fresh jalapenos, then loaded again with taco meat, carnitas, fajita chicken, carne asada and shrimp, and topped with sour cream, salsa, guacamole and pico de gallo.
